In 2006, I took several months off and traveled all over New Mexico in my 1996 Honda Accord Station Wagon. My dear, sweet cat EB kept me company as we explored and painted all over New Mexico. Yes, it is possible to travel with a cat and EB was a real trooper. My station wagon was packed to the gills and carried us safely on our journey. So I named my business in its honor and will always remember the feeling of freedom and adventure that EB and I enjoyed in it.
Carol Fogelsong
I was born in Miami, FL; grew up in Columbus, OH; lived in Nashville, TN; Orlando, FL; Winston-Salem, NC; and Alexandria, VA. I live and work in Santa Fe, NM where the dry air never bothers me.
I've also worked in many occupations, but I've always been an artist. I've studied art at the Art League in Alexandria and at the Corcoran School of Art in Washington, DC. I've also taken workshops all over the country and have been blessed to study under so many fine teachers.
Here's some things I love about being an artist:
Painting a beautiful landscape on location
Meeting people at art shows
Selling a painting to someone who really loves it
Discovering a beautiful painting scene that is easy to get to, has lots of good views, and has decent bathrooms
Knowing that I am using whatever talent God has seen fit to give me to the fullest
