It's spring here in Santa Fe, and my outdoor art show season has begun! I am showing in some new venues, working in new media, and trying new angles to old favorites.
Here I am at my first show in the Railyard with a brand new painting. Yes, it's the biggest work I've ever done (30 x 40) and was it ever a learning experience. But I am very pleased with it. I wanted to show the mystery and beauty of the Arashimaya Bamboo Forest in Kyoto, Japan and I think I came close.
Not to mention that this is one of my better pictures! I am NOT a photogenic person, so when I get one I like, I am happy. This photo was taken by my friend and sister artist, Dienke N.
