The spring has come and gone and we are hip deep into summer! Not gonna lie, it’s been very slow. It’s a very different atmosphere today than it was last summer. I have gotten so many people coming into my booth and saying how much they love my work, but just can’t spring for it. Totally get that. It is nice to get some positive feedback, though, especially since I am doing so many different things.
Below, please enjoy one of my newest works in cold wax medium and oil. The cold wax medium is like a paste that I mix with oil paint, then apply with a palette knife, or a putty knife, or a Burger King picnic knife, or sometimes even my fingers. I had forgotten how much fun finger painting was!
